This product is a replacement for the 6kw unit that i had for 10 years. I actually don't have a use for the lights and speakers as my shower is already done. Not very happy with the programmability of the unit. You can only run the unit in 30 min increments. So if it takes 15 minutes to get up to temp you have to run it for another 30 + 15 remaining from the preheat. Maybe I'll find a way to not have to add 30 min. If you read the other reviews, then you will see and hear that this a great product. From purchasing, shipping, receiving, and instructions were great. Building it was great, you just have to make sure you read and look at the instructions. There are only 3 things that I say could be better. 1) The 120v light outlet should be incorporated into the control box. I feel this is an oversight here. 2) There should be a locking mechanism for the door and not just magnets to hold the door closed. This is fine in low wind locations or for people that do not have little kids. I think this is an oversight as well. 3) There needs to be a pan for water collection under the heater. Arrived two days ago. I paid to have it dropped directly onto my concrete pad. Got electrical hooked up yesterday, filled it up last night, got in it this morning. The good stuff: It looks good, should be very reliable given how simple it is, and was a great price. The not-so-good stuff: They sent me the wrong color, the ozonator was broken upon arrival, the drain connection is tucked back under the tub and has no shutoff valve, the jets control is just one button but still manages to be confusing. But, at the end of the day, I just want some hot water, with jets, and not have it die every six months. So, I'm mostly a happy customer. Update: Just a heads-up, exactly where the cover lift arm attaches, there's a vertical strap in the way (see my photo).
