These are very nice wall plates and well worth the money. What I didn't realize was that it sits out a lot farther from the wall than standard wall plates. I about had a stroke bringing the existing light switches out away from the electrical box and making sure they were evenly spaced to fit into the wall plate. BUT, so worth it in the end.. Ephraim. Corner blocks are used with casing mouldings in the top corners around door frames or around the four corners of windows. It adds great architectural detail to your room and is ideal when you want to achieve a different look from metering. Use a corner block with Ornamental Mouldings casings. Pair with the style plinth block at the bottom of the door where the casing meets the baseboard, an ideal solution to using thin casing with a thicker baseboard.
