I bought this almost a year ago and had it hanging outside all winter (which, yes, was not smart). A high wind storm ripped it off my siding. I really like this awning. It's easy to assemble and install. I did not take into account that it is NOT hail resistant. A hail storm ruined the panels, as hail went right through the panels. I ordered another one, because I really like the awning and its application. This time, I left the protective self-stick packing sheets on both sides of the panels with the hope that the protective sheets will help prevent future hail damage.. Doris. Oklahoma.
