We are doing our part to help clean up the planet one planter at a time! Our sustainable plastic originates from both marine waste and curbside recycled material. We blend post-consumer plastic to make each planter. This durable square planter box is ideal for indoor and outdoor use for planting annuals, perennials, and ornamentals. Four attached elevated legs prevent the build-up of mold and mildew underneath the pot. Knockout drainage holes are located at the bottom of the planter and can be easily knocked out with an ordinary screwdriver. We create products for people that like to get their hands dirty. These rustic pots are lovely, and just what I was looking for. My only complaint is what is with all the excessive packaging! Seriously. These are rustic, somewhat pitted terra cotta pots. Not precious china. But I now need to dispose of a huge box of styrofoam pellets. Way overkill. They probably could have been shipped with a nice little wrap of bubble wrap, which they had, but then covered by a ton of styrofoam. Please remember that this is the only planet we’ve got. So far.. I love the look of this pot so much I use it as a little tool pot for various decor with other curated collections because it’s got such a great look!!! As far a plant pot there is no drainage hole … I would just throw some pebbles in the bottom if I ever get a plant in it it was a little smaller than expected, even after I saw the measurements. Beautiful planter and true to size and color from its product page. I have two full sized hibiscus plants in each of my planters in my front yard. I will give a warning and say maybe put bigger rocks at the bottom to try and ward off anything getting root bound and blocking the drainage holes- but thats an issue with just about any big planter..
