*Edited to add that 3 years on and one move requiring disassembly and reassembly and it’s still an awesome piece of furniture. It is used more as a couch than a bed but it has held up and still looks new. Love it! I put it together by myself!! It’s comfortable to sit on with pillows all around. The arms are nice and high giving something to lean against. I keep a king size bed pillow at each end. There’s a bit of a gap between the last slat on the upper bed and the arm. No wooden parts had the number stickers on them. It was a nightmare! The back panels were two different colors, and one had no holes, and the other had holes but would not fit no matter what way we tried. Also, the wood was splotched with a black ink-like substance. Thankfully came off with a magic eraser. Once completed it it is wobbly and doesn't feel sturdy. Really loved this bed. It's much bigger than I imagined but not in a bad way. It looks very nice and not cheap at all. The trundle was great. The only issue we run into is that when you pull the trundle out, it catches the area rug underneath. We have a ruggable type rug in that room though, so I'm sure it would be better on a stiffer rug. The daybed looks great in the space and was pretty straightforward to put together. The trundle can be raised which is a plus. My only issue is that the daybed does not come with a matching mattress cover.
