Love this canopy, it provides a good amount of shade but still lets some light through and the price was very reasonable. I received it within a week of ordering and all parts were in good shape, with the exception of one bolt head that had a manufacturing defect. It took about 4 hours to build with two people and required a ladder. It's not complicated to put together, just requires a lot of tightening bolts. Getting the first joists on while also holding the bracing was a little challenging but once you get a couple it on it can hold It's own weight a bit more. It will require being attached to the ground and wall to maintain stability. Pro tip: remove the label stickers as you go so you don't have to climb back up on the ladder later to take them off. I love this gazebo! Unfortunately my previous Wayfair gazebo collapsed due to the tremendous amount of snow and ice we received early in January. I should have removed the canopy, but have not been removing it in past years. Id simply go out with a long push broom and gently lift up each section to allow the snow to fall off. This storm was different. Lesson learned. Unfortunately, its tough to buy a canopy that includes the ribbing that holds it together and atop the frame. Wayfairs customer service department used the replacement canopy I had purchased then returned and applied it as a credit to my account. I then quickly found an open box gazebo, that in my opinion is of better quality. I was eager to get it up, despite the windy weather here in Quakertown PA, but its up and anchored to my concrete patio acquiring plants, comfy chairs and tables, garden decor, etc. (mostly everything purchased at Wayfair, of course)!. Great looking pergola with easy to follow instructions. Took two adults about 7 hours to build with breaks in between. We also used the recommended expansion bolts to secure it to our cement patio. The wood is very soft so it does dent and scratch easily while we were building it but it doesnt look bad at all. No wooden parts had the number stickers on them. It was a nightmare! The back panels were two different colors, and one had no holes, and the other had holes but would not fit no matter what way we tried. Also, the wood was splotched with a black ink-like substance. Thankfully came off with a magic eraser. Once completed it it is wobbly and doesn't feel sturdy. Exceeded my expectations! Quality is great and love the size. Assembly was involved but overall not too difficult to manage. Can’t wait to spend summer nights sitting below it and enjoying the coverage. My only complaint was with the lack of price matching by Wayfair.
