Okay first thing.. this is a very beautiful light. I love the way it looks. And the shipping was very fast. But just an FYI before you start to hang it, make sure all the cords are pulled up underneath the mount. If not you’ll have to take the mount back down and do it all again. This is a beautiful chandelier. It's categorized as classic/traditional, but I find it to be very modern with an Art Deco feel. There is one caveat if you plan to install yourself (which I did). I would recommend putting it together before trying to hang it rather than following the directions. I had a lot of difficulty getting the wires through the rods trying to assemble it from a ladder, especially after splicing the wires from the electrical box on the ceiling and the bottom of the chandelier. Make sure you splice the 2 wires at different lengths or you'll never get both of them through the extension rods! If you have never installed a light fixture, I'd recommend hiring a pro.. Anonymous.
