Previously I have only purchased rugs from Wayfair, which I have always loved. I had never purchased any furniture. I was looking for a daybed and found one that I liked, so I bought it. Being a female in my 70’s, I was worried about the assembly. I considered paying to have someone put it together but my son said he would do it, so I didn’t purchase that. My son got very busy when the daybed arrived so it was just sitting in the box. Then I decided to start to read the directions and before you know it, I had assembled the bed all by myself. It's a beautiful bed. Material is a soft misty grey, with a suede feel. Went together and installed in room in approximately 2 hours. Everything needed to put it together was in one of the two boxes that came. Arrived with a damaged box, but well packed and bed was undamaged. Drawers are on casters and easy to use. They hold quite a bit of items as well. Shelves are great and eliminate the need for a bulky nightstand beside the bed. Support system of the bed is slats of wood attached to a ribbon of material that rolled up easily. No complaints from the bed user on comfort or noise of bed. This bed was a serious project to put together. My husband and daughter spend about 4 hours on it, so maybe an item worth adding the extra assembly fee on to. It looks and functions well! Wanted this for someone who would be sleeping and watching television in the bedroom frequently and there wasn’t space for a separate seating area. I paid for assembly and the person was able to build it without any issues. The drawers below are a little flimsy, but love the extra added storage under the bed.
