The couch comes packaged well in separate boxes for each modular piece. No damage in transit on mine. It includes the hardware needed for setup. The set up is time consuming and does take a small amount of time to figure out. Decide how you want to configure it before attaching the connecting brackets that should be the final step. It’s large and comfortable and with time, I think it will break in nicely. The color is true to the pictures and I’m happy with the tone. I couldn’t be more happy with this set! The pieces are very well-made, very sturdy and for the price they look like they should cost a whole lot more. Yes, the assembly is time consuming, but so worth it in the end. If you can afford it, I would highly recommend paying the extra money to have it assembled, but if you have time to kill, then I say go for it. It’s not that complicated at all just a little time consuming. I’m a pretty picky person when it comes to buying large items (coming in a box needing to be assembled,) but I am so glad I bought this.
