Mission Handcrafted tiffany stained glass ceiling light lampshade is slight heavy than you expected, as it is made of really 100% stained glass. But when you knock it, it sounds like plastic. That's why? Because of its special manufacturing process. Each glass piece is cut by hand, then polish the edge before wrapping the copper foil. The edges of the glass pieces are wrapped with adhesive copper tape (copper foil). Then putted together in a mould according to the pattern. At last, using soldering material to weld each glass at a very high temperature. The Stained glass is Much Heavy than Plastic, and couldn't been burned, normal knife couldn't cut them. Easy to Check it.

It is a lot nicer than I thought. It would be. My walls are like a light green and when you turn that light on. It shows green up in it. It is amazing. Its beautiful. Im very pleased with it. Our lovely Edenbridge Chandelier is a contemporary twist on classic chandelier design that will accentuate any decor in your home. The fixture features a metal base that is finished in gleaming Polished Chrome. At the top, graceful dual scrolls are hung with beaded chain crystal swag. The scrolls extend downward to a series of 6 arms that curve upward to crystal candle cups, each with a shorter beaded chain hanging from its underside. Really a nice light fixture. Installation was straight forward even though the instructions were absolutely worthless. Some reviews stated that the installation was difficult, aI think they probably were confused by the terminal block used to connect the wiring. They were the screw-down type and really not all that common in the US. But, that's why Google is your friend! The fixture is quite light, l prefit everything first then removed the shade for the wiring- add the shade last. I was able to complete the job without any assistance. It can absolutely be a one person job. The only difficulty was with the decorative nuts for the mounting bolts; the bolts could be a little longer in my opinion. this Tiffany style lamp projects a brilliant stained glass sparkle with all of the different textures and colors you would expect from this style of shade. If you are trying to add color to your room this shade has a lot of colors with blue being the dominate color in the shade. It does seems a little dark when the lights are turned off. This Tiffany chandelier arrived quickly. It was well packed against the abuses of shipping. It is beautiful and true to the color on-line. I cannot wait until my renovation is ready for this lamp to be hung. Update: The chandelier looks beautiful hanging above my dining room table (that just got moved out so the floor can be refinished). At night, it gives good light that can be dimmed and that has a faint green tinge. UPDATE: We hung this today and my rating has gone to 7 stars out of 5. The color is greener than in the picture.
