This crate is perfect. The packaging protected the product during shipping. The instructions were easy to follow (not always the case with furniture). It took less than 30 minutes to build and it is solid, which is great because our dog is an escape artist! I was a little worried by the 1 star and 2 star reviews about the latching hardware not being good. PLEASE IGNORE THOSE! It is obvious that they missed an important step in the instructions regarding spring loaded latches for the inside of the left front gate. The wheels were not allowed while traveling but were handy once the crate was disassembled to make it easier to move around. Improvements: - The area where the wheels attach got pretty beat up, would be nice if there was something else to put on top while not using the wheels. - the handles on top are plastic, and although they should be used just to move the top of the crate, one was missing when I returned back to Texas. The product itself is great. It's exactly what I needed for my anxious dog. I purchased from Wayfair because of shipping options. I didn't want the product damaged during shipping. When the package arrived it was beat up. We had to repair ons of the latches. Purchasing from Wayfair was more expensive and I was disappointed in not only the state of the box but the communication from Wayfair. I will be avoiding purchasing anything from them in the future.
