Is it possible to be in love with a toilet? I am! I fell in love with this toilet before I even used it, reading reviews, examining its features, etc. And then my contractor installed it. From the moment it was plugged in, I knew it would be a game changer for me in the best possible way. Love the heated seat. Love *all* the bidet functions. Love the night light. Love the remote control. Love my auto open/close lid. I feel cleaner (and am) when I use it, and the toilet is designed to be a sanitizing experience. I haven't even used the deodorizer yet! I. love. this. toilet. It's a little pricey, but treat yourself. It will change going to the bathroom for you. Two bonus tips: 1) if your #2s are often messy (i.e., squishy -- sorry if TMI but you need to know this), this the answer; 2) if you're concerned about the price -- I am a super-picky person and I shopped around to discern whether I should get this toilet or a smart toilet. This is a traditional toilet with smart features, and given the reputation and stellar history of Toto that accompanies this toilet, this unit is ultra-reasonably priced. I ordered the Crestle from Wayfair and it arrived very quickly in 3 days. However, my toilet while it didn’t appear damaged on the outside from shipping, had a manufacturing defect on the inside where one spot in the bowl had a bad casting gap and led to a crack. I reached out to Wayfair and they promptly sent me a replacement. The new one came just as quick and had no defects on the porcelain. After installation, it went well but after a week of using it, I noticed the reception on the remote is quite poor. Turns out if you’re sitting on the toilet, your body will tend to block the remote rf signal unless the remote is on your right side. Also holding the remote in different positions yielded different results as to whether it was detected or not by the toilet. I reached out to Crestle customer support and was told my solution is to just move the remote closer than it is. That’s kinda not possible and not ideal for the signal to be that weak. There are some other quirks like it auto flushing the second you lift up your leg instead of 10 second delay like the manual states. So in the end, big plus for Wayfair, but thumbs down on Crestle support, and the odd quirks that they couldn’t help me with. Biggest complaints are remote signal strength, and no auto flush delay configuration. 4 stars mainly because of Wayfair, and the price and features of the toilet. We just had this toilet installed and it is absolutely beautiful and very elegant looking. I had looked at a lot of different ones and liked this sleek and modern design the best. I also love that it is made of Porcelain (harder and stronger) and not ceramic. The plumber found it pretty easy to install and it came with everything needed. The seat is comfortable; the open and close mechanism is smooth. I love the touch button at the bottom, makes it unnecessary to touch the lids. The flush is very quiet and I LOVE that. The toilet is water resistant and that should it a lot easier to clean without worrying about shorting the electrics of it. It does say that it is antimicrobial, but, I do not see a UV light for disinfecting so there is no way to be sure. I like that it has a manual flush option, so it can be used even if the power goes out… I am yet to try the bidet and warming functions (Will update review after I have done so).. Arpita.
