This is a lovely piece to compliment an empty wall space. However, there are a few things we were a little disappointed with. The instructions say it's easy to put together, and should be done in an hour. Maybe for the professionals. For my husband, and I (yes you do need 2 people to assemble), it took over two hours. The instructions are all in pictures, and no words so while it was easy to figure out what went where, we still had to double check we were using the correct amount of hardware for each piece. We assumed it was only for pieces to put together. Not the case- it's more than 4, less than 20. Also usually furniture comes with 'caps' to lay over the screws so it looks finished. There were no 'caps' included. So while the end product is quite lovely, we will be very careful if we order again since we do not want to have to put anything together. Decent, attractive table. Pretty easy to assemble. But there were a few quality issues: in some places the black wood finish was too thin and the lighter wood underneath showed through. Also, the spots where the handles were to be screwed in were not pre-drilled. I corrected both issues myself rather than go through the hassle and frustration of navigating the return process.. Lori.
