Looks great. Casts light both up and down. I struggled to find a light that cast light upwards to show house number above the garage. Evening delivery always had difficulty finding house because the house number was in the dare. Our old light and most garage/outdoor lights only shine down. This light looks great and is practical.. I bought this light fixture because I absolutely loved the design of it. So unique. I love finding things that not everyone else has. The design on it is really cool and the light itself is great. It's also nice that the bulb comes built into the fixture so you don't have to go buy a bulb for it. The color is also a great color and really rustic looking. I installed it on the side of the house for now. I think I probably should have gotten 2 of them and put them out front on each side of the garage door instead so they could be seen more. It really adds a pop of color and design to wherever you install it. They say you could even use it indoors. It would probably look great in a hallway or even inside the garage itself. There's no assembly at all and it's hardwired which made it so easy to install. The only thing I was disappointed about was that it seemed a lot smaller when I got it than it appeared to be on line. But after installing it though I really like it the way it is and am glad it's that size. I really wouldn't want it any bigger. My overall review of this light fixture is that I really like it. The color is great, the light itself it gives off is perfect, it has a real cool and unique design and it's great for indoors or outdoors so yes I would definitely recommend this light fixture!!.
