This piece was exactly as advertised. The final measurements were exactly as they should be. It is a decent quality. The instructions were very good, but I wish they had said that there was no need to remove baseboards. Each section is in 2 pieces and the top overhangs the bottom at the back by at least 1/4" so the baseboards fit behind it fine. Make sure you pay attention to the circles that show how to align the pieces correctly. Some of the screws were flat rather than pointed, which made it difficult to alight them correctly in the pilot holes. Some of the pilot holes did not go through the laminate, which make it more difficult to start the screws. Overall I am very happy with the piece and it fit perfectly in my closet.. Laura. Missouri. These closet systems are a great color. Assembly was VERY time consuming. We ended up hiring a contractor to assemble and install them. The assembly time indicated was grossly underestimated. The curtain rods that are inside of the main portion of the system doesn’t have enough room to hang a simple shirt. They should have been mounted above the shelf and the shelf should have been removed all together. It is definitely more cheaply made that previous systems we have had. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So I loved the look of the ClosetMaid SuiteSymphony closet system. It is a very complete set and has the right amount space for hanging, shoe space, and drawer room for my partner and I. It looks and feels sturdy. The assembly took a bit longer than expected because the top board didn't fit but that was my fault because my measurement was off. It was an easy fix though because I was able to cut it. The other part I didn't consider is that I have a floor trim in my closet, so the closet would not sit flush to the wall. I had to cut into the trim to make the closet flush to the wall. Other than that, it's beautiful and looks great organized. It helps see everything I have and the drawers are a great addition. I didn't love the shoe space since it's not a big space for several shoes. I could do without this space and instead add additional drawers or boards. Last thing is I will need to install different doors for my closet since the drawers will not work with my sliding door. this closet system is so great. its up there in quality. I was immediately taken by the packaging, it was well done. I had no issues with shipping or defects upon opening. I have a highend look at my walk-in closet, but a much friendlier price. the original manufacture lines I was working with for a layout were pricing close to $9k. This is an amazing dressing table. There are two HUGE drawers that will hold everything you can imagine. And two very large front cabinets. The electrical outlet on the side of the table is so handy. You don’t have cords stretched out from your makeup mirror or other gadgets causing tripping hazards. This table is the perfect piece for a dressing room or walk in closet. The only issue I had was the drawer slides provided were junk. Wayfair even sent replacement slides and they were the same poor quality. I ended up purchasing full extension slides and they worked beautifully. I also wasn’t impressed with the hardware. I replaced the hardware with a much nicer, heavier hardware set.. Nora.
