I’m not sure why other reviews said that these were flimsy. Maybe they weren’t installed correctly. My husband did a great job installing these. We have blackouts and sheers on them. My curtains were new and the bottom curtain rod was fine. The upper rod, not so much. It took a while for me to decide which curtain rod to get and made the perfect choice…the finial is so pretty and adds to the window treatment.. Beverly. Wed Mar 11 2026

Thes design was perfect for a window with extremely limited space for a curtain rod and finials. I looked for a long time to find the right design for full functionality and my aesthetic. These were almost perfect. I’m glad I chose light weight curtains because the rod is not as big in diameter as I would have liked. I probably could use two sets of curtains on the window but I don’t think the rod would hold the additional weight. My curtains are fine and do cover the window fine but I would prefer to add an additional set for aesthetics only. I still love the design and would buy them again if they only came in this size. I did purchase a rod larger than I needed so that it is not hanging on just a weaker single rod. It has the support of the rod inside the rod that I’m not using.
