Thes design was perfect for a window with extremely limited space for a curtain rod and finials. I looked for a long time to find the right design for full functionality and my aesthetic. These were almost perfect. I’m glad I chose light weight curtains because the rod is not as big in diameter as I would have liked. I probably could use two sets of curtains on the window but I don’t think the rod would hold the additional weight. My curtains are fine and do cover the window fine but I would prefer to add an additional set for aesthetics only. I still love the design and would buy them again if they only came in this size. I did purchase a rod larger than I needed so that it is not hanging on just a weaker single rod. It has the support of the rod inside the rod that I’m not using. I’m not sure why other reviews said that these were flimsy. Maybe they weren’t installed correctly. My husband did a great job installing these. We have blackouts and sheers on them. Great curtain rod! Adds a touch of industrial, very sturdy and easy to install. The only issue I had was with the middle connection. The grip slid off and the edges are a bit sharp, so be careful if curtain fabric is touching the rod directly as it can rip them (if grip is off). Definitely buying one of these for my living room!. I really love this curtain rod. The hardware is stunning, the rod is sturdy, and relatively easy to install. Two reasons for 4 stars - I wish it came with extra hardware, we broke a few anchors tapping them into the ceiling. Also, the finials are slightly discolored.
