Beyond functionality, it also complements the kitchen and looks great on the counter! I really appreciate how customizable it is. In addition to the auto timer, it has a bold brew option that slows down the water flow to create a stronger cup of coffee. The self-cleaning feature is also a great bonus and very convenient.
The only feature I wasn't a big fan of was the over-ice option. While it turns off the hot plate, by the time you fill the carafe with ice and finish brewing, the result is room temperature, diluted coffee. That said, it's not a deal breaker.
