I ordered the Crestle from Wayfair and it arrived very quickly in 3 days. However, my toilet while it didn’t appear damaged on the outside from shipping, had a manufacturing defect on the inside where one spot in the bowl had a bad casting gap and led to a crack. I reached out to Wayfair and they promptly sent me a replacement. The new one came just as quick and had no defects on the porcelain. After installation, it went well but after a week of using it, I noticed the reception on the remote is quite poor. Turns out if you’re sitting on the toilet, your body will tend to block the remote rf signal unless the remote is on your right side. Also holding the remote in different positions yielded different results as to whether it was detected or not by the toilet. I reached out to Crestle customer support and was told my solution is to just move the remote closer than it is. That’s kinda not possible and not ideal for the signal to be that weak. There are some other quirks like it auto flushing the second you lift up your leg instead of 10 second delay like the manual states. So in the end, big plus for Wayfair, but thumbs down on Crestle support, and the odd quirks that they couldn’t help me with. Biggest complaints are remote signal strength, and no auto flush delay configuration. 4 stars mainly because of Wayfair, and the price and features of the toilet. Just like the matching washer, I bought it for an upstairs laundry closet area where a normal size stacked washer and dryer just would not fit in my home. We are running the water lines next week and I honestly cant wait to get everything installed upstairs, but for now I’ve been trying it out in the basement and have been really impressed with it so far. One thing I had to learn at first is that heat pump dryers work differently than a traditional dryer. I was expecting clothes to come out feeling really hot, so at first I thought something was wrong, but once I read about how they work it made a lot more sense. It’s more energy efficient and much gentler on your clothes, which I really appreciate. The 40 minute quick cycle has been great for smaller loads, and I also love that you can set it to keep tumbling to help prevent wrinkles if you don’t unload it right away. The drum light is also a great feature and makes it much easier to see everything inside. Another thing I really like is the lint filter design. It has a nice double filter setup with very fine mesh that does a great job catching lint. I also love that this is ventless, because that opens up so many more options for where you can put it. It’s wonderful for spaces where you normally couldn’t install a dryer, and I also like that you can optionally hook it up to drain automatically instead of having to empty the water container. Another nice bonus is that it’s WiFi connected. I wouldn’t say that’s something I absolutely need, but it is really nice to have.
