Packaging 1010 very well packed it even came with a white gloves and instructions in a fancy envelope. Color 1010exact as photo both are an identical match to each other. Note that the lamp shade is a pure white. I specifically choose this for the 3 way however it does not work on either. I really like this table lamp, a white lamp with gold accents is always a timeless choice and this one did not disappoint. I am giving it a 4 star because I do wish it had a more stylish lampshade and also I wish the metal at the top were gold just like the knob that holds the shade in place instead of white. Other tan that, once you take it out of the box its super easy to put together, you just fold the lampshade and attach to the lamp. Also please note, the gold tones are beautiful.. Jasmin.
