Great starter coop! We ended up stapling chicken wire around the entire outside for extra protection and also added a second latch to the bottom of the door. Impressed with the amount of roosting space plus ground space. I plan on redoing the latches on the roosting boxes as they aren’t the strongest and predators “could” get in or my chickens could get out. We did have missing pieces to 4 of the latches and had to go buy some. The packages arrived quickly and in good condition. The components are heavyweight and seem to be of good quality. I have given it four stars based on the quality of the components. I am currently dealing with some issues with my back and I am unable to assemble it at this time I will update this review once I have gotten it put together 52026 UPDATE I finally hired a contractor to put the coop together and at first it seemed a bit flimsy just at the joints but once the wire was completely attached and the shades put on it is nice and sturdy. The coop is quite large, but a pretty simple build. Simple enough that I was able to do as a project with my little ones. Didn’t find any problems with the instructions - all were written pretty clearly and simply. No mistakes and nothing left out. We were worried about the coop in the Louisiana weather, but the PVC roof is large enough and pitched correctly to keep water off the sides and out of the coop. Great product! Easy assembly however it does take about 6 hours to but together. There were a few undrilled boards. Also the cover doesn't stay on with windy days with it being Velcro.
