I bought this in white and it is beautiful. The reason for the four stars is one of the 6 bolts & nuts had a defect and would not fasten together. We spent about 2 hours and finally after an unsuccessful trip to the hardware store to buy a replacement, we ended up using the bolt and a dowel glued in place since it was the upper back corner. This chest is absolutely stunning. It looks exactly like it is pictured online. The whole chest is solid, well made, and it is very heavy. The drawers are soft-close and can hold quite a bit, however the drawers are not particularly deep. The granite is beautiful and since this chest is so large there is quite a bit of granite surface area. I purchased this for my office but it would look beautiful in a bedroom as well. In fact, I kind of want the bedroom set after seeing this in person. I am so happy with this purchase. This is such a solid and beautiful piece. The cabinet comes fully assembled - the box is quite large, with plenty of paddingprotection for shipping. As some others have mentioned, the color leans ashygreen, but overall works with my color scheme. Being able to easily swap out the door faces is a great bonus! I’m currently using the glass fronts. I bought this for my parents kitchen. We needed more storage space, and this piece is perfect! The cabinets are deep and high enough that they can put things like instant pot and rice cooker in it. This is a lovely piece to compliment an empty wall space. However, there are a few things we were a little disappointed with. The instructions say it's easy to put together, and should be done in an hour. Maybe for the professionals. For my husband, and I (yes you do need 2 people to assemble), it took over two hours. The instructions are all in pictures, and no words so while it was easy to figure out what went where, we still had to double check we were using the correct amount of hardware for each piece. We assumed it was only for pieces to put together. Not the case- it's more than 4, less than 20. Also usually furniture comes with 'caps' to lay over the screws so it looks finished. There were no 'caps' included. So while the end product is quite lovely, we will be very careful if we order again since we do not want to have to put anything together.
