These are great chairs. I have two in my office for meetings, and everyone has commented that they are comfortable and attractive. Since they don't have arms, the small meeting table doesn't look like it has a forest of furniture. This chair arrived quickly and was easy to assemble. The directions were clear and easy to follow. The seat is black faux leather and not real leather. It says the frame is wood, but it is shiny like a laminate. Maybe it is just a coating they put on it. It seems to be comfortable and can adjust up or down and also tilt. This chair is just wonderful. Nice and wide and has a high back. I will use it for a vanity chair because it is quite pretty. The assembly was easy except it took two people to do the seat assembly.
