If you've looking into the cost to plumb in a sink to a room which doesn't already have plumbing. If you can even run the pipes it can easily cost thousands! Compared to that, this is a small price to pay. We have one in every room of a 80 child day care center - that's seven sinks that we did not have to plumb for! Best of all, they can be moved if we want to change the room around.
In addition to the function, this brand and unit is very well made Works well in operation. Kids need a step stool to reach, but that is the same with a "normal" sink.
