I should have thought it through because i had a 10000 BTU window unit that kept our room cool. Just unpacked and set this up and on day one, so far so good. I bought 2 different brands for different areas of my house and this one is much more quiet. It’s more expensive but oh so worth it!!Came with batteries for the remote ( the other did not).The only drawback was the trim kit wasn’t perfect for my regular windows.
