Generally pretty happy with this. Feels solid, instructions were clear, easy to put together. Only issue was that on the middle shelf, not sure if the pilot holes underneath weren't deep enough, but the screws to secure it to the bar ended up creating enough pressure that it pushed a point up and cracked the finish, and the screws hadn't even gone in all the way yet. But not major enough to really notice unless you look closely. I enjoy the simple and minimalistic design that allowed me to avoid creating holes to put up shelves while still having shelves.. Jose. I was looking for something not too tall that would provide good horizontal cube storage and this completely fit the bill. The parts were all well-labeled and the instructions were very clear, making it a breeze to assemble. I took 1 star off the rating for 3 issues: (1) many of the part labels are on the front side so that the sticker has to be removed, however it's very difficult to remove and leaves some residue. (2) The finish is a bit fragile and chipped a few times around the holes when inserting screws. And (3) overall the bookcase is pretty flimsy. The item itself, once l was able to pull up a LARGER version of the instructions on how to put it together is fine. However, do better. The words were so tiny, you couldnt make out the instructions unless you had a magnifying glass. The ACTUAL instructions were larger, but printed in CHINESE! WTH!! I was able to go back to the order and open up specifications or instructions and put item together from my laptop. A LOT of people would not have followed this train of thought and figured out what to do. But including a tiny, folded page of instructions to bypass a larger page in Chinese is terrible business.
