This is the perfect shower head. I have this model in both my bathtub and stand-alone shower. It’s great for either size experience. I had a 2011 Delta hand-held 2.0 gpm shower head. I have only had one shower with this new shower head, and I am very enthusiastic about it. Even though it has the same gpm as the old shower head, the experience is markedly different. I had it on the regular spray setting and felt very stimulated and awake afterwards. This is a VERY HARD TO FIND, "Old School" shower faucet. First, it is 2.5 GPM which I want; second, the slide bar is affixed to the wall firmly; third, the shower head holder is not a flimsy one and it (the entire shower head holder slides along the bar and with a flick of one part of the holder, it becomes firmly held in place). This means that users can easily adjust the position for each person's preferred location for a fixed shower spray or as a handheld unit. My 20-year old shower was leaking out the shower head even after replacing the mixer cap (rotating valve). Then I bought this, the pressure balancing unit (PBU) and after replacing both, there are no leaks and it works better than new. Kohler will say that this PBU is not the solution to a leaky shower head, but it was for me. Watch the Kohler installation video and buy both this PBU and the temperature regulator and you will be good as new. The parts change out quickly and easily with simple tools. I also used a plastic scrubbing brush to polish all the brass seating surfaces that this seals against. Good quality and works perfect the first time.. Nodrog. Colorado. Mon Dec 26 2022
