The units cover adequately keeps water temps warm and great at keeping the outside from entering the water. The cleaning tablets needed for this are your standard and can easily be replaced to your own liking and standards. I got this hot tub in September 2025. The pump has a leak and is not working properly. This company has no telephone number listed or a web site and can only be reached via email. My 20-year old shower was leaking out the shower head even after replacing the mixer cap (rotating valve). Then I bought this, the pressure balancing unit (PBU) and after replacing both, there are no leaks and it works better than new. Kohler will say that this PBU is not the solution to a leaky shower head, but it was for me. Watch the Kohler installation video and buy both this PBU and the temperature regulator and you will be good as new. The parts change out quickly and easily with simple tools.
