Beautiful but time-consuming and very detailed. I stripped a screw and couldn’t fix the handle trim on BR door. Also put a lot of pieces in backwards or upside down and had to redo. Because of the roll-out drawers, there are a LOT of things to assemble. The bookshelf is very nice and solid with a lot of shelf space. However, I did run into an issue with the holes on one of the pieces not fitting together. I was able to contact support and we managed to find a solution together. The rest of the build was fairly easy and painless from that point forward. As far as the shelf goes, its very sturdy and holds a lot of books. The shelves are incredibly easy to move if you want one shelf to be larger or smaller. We are using this as a shoe cabinet. Wayfair calls it a bookshelf, but I don’t think I would ever recommend it for books — the shelves are not adjustable and are way too short for books. They are perfect for our shoes, though! Even our boots fit nicely on the taller shelves. I am giving four stars because the construction of the doors, though cute, is not very sturdy at all. If you have active pets or kids I think they’re likely to break easily. Hopefully ours hold up since it’s in an out of the way location in our home, but only time will tell.
