Works for me, but I would have been really upset if I had paid full price. Majority of the pieces had some sort of damage that could have been solved with better packing. The backing is pretty flimsy and has really visible creases that I couldn't smooth out. I covered the back with wallpaper bc I thought it was cute. The laminate is pretty thin and seems to be easily damaged. Overall satisfied with it, but I would have preferred something a bit more elevated. Just hard to find a good balance of price and value.. The bookshelf is wonderful. Very sturdy and it looks high quality. As you can see I am using for our tv and it’s deep enough where the hdmi cords have room to be plugged in horizontally into the back of the tv. One heads up though, the package is HEAVYYY so be ready to have someone help you carry it in. Other than that, once it was built (which the assembly was so easy) it wasn’t to hard to move around to where I wanted it. My only complaint is that the backing was not aligned and I had to remove the tape that held it together to re-aligned it. Handsome cabinet at a good price, and fairly easy to assemble. One caveat, I followed the instructions exactly, but the interior shelves are finished on one edge and not the other. I ended up putting it together with the unfinished edge out. Since you pre assemble the pieces it's not apparent until the last step when you do the last assembly steps.
