This is very thin material and does not feel Hefty at all. I know what is 72 in but wow it looked like a dollhouse! Its very narrow. Its a good thing this table is chip scratch resistant because when delivered the packaging was ripped torn outside and in! But the table is in excellent condition! Quite easy to assemble providing there are two of you! For me alone, it was just too heavy. But its weight is a plus for sturdiness.
