We bought this set for our small Kitchen. We knew that we would have to assemble it once it arrived. So we pulled up the directions which were pretty clear. However, you definitely need more than the included allen wrench and recommended screw driver and hammer. We ended up needing a drill to get the screws in-otherwise we'd still be screwing in the screws! The Table was easy. However, our biggest issue was with the chairs. Every. Single. Chair. was uneven and wobbly. One more than another. We followed the instructions each and every time for each chair, and every single time we ended up with the same wobbly result. Ok let's talk chairs! When using in a rental upholstery is a nightmare and solid would is so heavy. I wanted something with cushion, not bulky, easy to wipe off and would fit and move nicely in and out around the table. These are the chairs you want! This table set is an incredible value for the price. I just moved into a studio apartment and I wanted something counter height that could double as more prep space and a table, plus not take up too much space. The solid wood feels very sturdy, and the assembly was easy. The stools do wobble a little bit but they didn't before I screwed in the cross bars - I think they just need some adjustment or some self-leveling felt pads on the feet. If this were a more expensive set that would knock it down to 4 stars, but I'm factoring in value too - I'm willing to tinker a bit to save some money.
