This was an ‘Open Box’ item. The plates are beautiful. The reason for 1 star is that the person who packed and shipped this open box item of 5 plates did not use the correct packing material for the plates. 4 of the 5 were shattered, and Perigold did allow me to return. I’m just very disappointed that someone didn’t do their job. This is why prices go up because lazy employees cost companies money… then it gets passed down to the consumer. The Mallorca collection captures the natural landscape of the famous Mediterranean island, a haven of turquoise waters, soft golden sands, and impressive cliffs. Mallorca shares its DNA with our Eivissa collection, featuring reactive glazes of patterns. Yet, its soft and scalloped edges suggest a more exquisite look. Combine both shapes for a casual and eclectic look. Due to the reactive glazes, the blended patterns will vary slightly, making each piece one-of-a-kind.
