I purchased this tile to surround my fireplace. The color was as pictured. Packaged well no broken tiles. Wish tiles were sold separately as well. Tried to order 3 samples to complete my project but I would have to order 2 boxes and have way more than what was needed. This tile was too expensive to have so many leftover. Although I used liquid nails, I purchased the kit with edging so that if the tile sags down the road, the edging will keep it in place. Looks awesome! Easy to glue up with Loctite Power Grab HD adhesive (not the clear one) after I scuffed the paint with some 160 grit sandpaper. I overlapped the flat edges and used some panel nails at each corner, since you have four that overlap, if you do it that way. A little trim mounding around the edges finished it off nicely.. Tony. Well my review is mixed. I love the look and I couldn’t find tin backsplash from anywhere else. Everything was faux tin so basically vinyl. These are not aluminum. Some sort of special galvanized so I hope they do not rust. Our problem came when we put a very mild masking tape on the tin to mark our cutting area. As you can see from the picture the paint came off! We were surprised that this would happen considering the cost. Very disappointed. Now I worry how much paint will come off when I clean it.
