Easy assembly however it does take about 6 hours to but together. There were a few undrilled boards. Also the cover doesn't stay on with windy days with it being Velcro. The coop is quite large, but a pretty simple build. Simple enough that I was able to do as a project with my little ones. Didn’t find any problems with the instructions - all were written pretty clearly and simply. No mistakes and nothing left out. We were worried about the coop in the Louisiana weather, but the PVC roof is large enough and pitched correctly to keep water off the sides and out of the coop. Great product! So I had a squirrel problem getting in my garden and this solved all my problems by being able to put everything inside together. Great starter coop! We ended up stapling chicken wire around the entire outside for extra protection and also added a second latch to the bottom of the door. Impressed with the amount of roosting space plus ground space. I plan on redoing the latches on the roosting boxes as they aren’t the strongest and predators “could” get in or my chickens could get out. We did have missing pieces to 4 of the latches and had to go buy some. My 12 year old son and I had no problem assembling this in about an hour. I the wood is not as thick/sturdy as I had hoped. I think it will be excellent for our first 4 chickens. We will have it inside. Covered run with a water proof cover so hopefully it will last a little while. The bottom metal tray seems fragile. I hope it can withstand the weight of 4 chickens.
