Shady ..the good kind. We had two sails to compare, the material of this one is heavier intertwined and double stitched which I am hoping to last better. The hardware came with it which is a plus but it’s smaller than the kind you can purchase by itself on Wayfair. This shade arrived within a few days of ordering it. The package was heavy, it is made of very heavy duty material. I chose the grey color and it is a nice light grey, almost blue in daylight. This shade does not come with any hardware for hanging it so that has to be purchased separately. I have put it on a pergola to create some much needed shade on my patio.
