This is a really nice unit. Nice looking design, mostly metal, sturdy feeling including coating with a nice texture / evenly applied, plenty of sensor settings (tucked on underside of sensor pod) for whatever you might be looking for the light to do, and has a clearly stated warranty. The lights are moderately bright, much dimmer, warmer, and more "mood lighting" than "floodlight" compared to our previous 2-bulb spotlight. Part of it is the focus of the light since they have a full rim/hood whereas some fixtures have big bulging bulbs that distribute light widely. Just depends what you're looking for. The area we have them in is about 50ft wide and with these pointed about 50* downward, they light up about 30ft well and the rest dimly. To me, this kind of light is more considerate to neighbors since it directs the light more into your own yard than beaming in all directions. 2 issues. One is the sensor pod -- which in my opinion is the durability weak spot on these types of product -- is all plastic... Not so good for baking in the sun, though I feel more confident since the product has a longer warranty than most things these days and will hopefully be UV resistant. The other quirk was during installation. This product has a lot of power/brains packed into the round base plate, leaving almost no room for wires/nuts. In our case, we had a builder-grade (junk) spotlight attached directly to an eve with the wiring stuffed behind the eve, no workbox. This meant a much more complicated install than expected because we had to cut a workbox to a weird location. Probably would have cost a good chunk more if an electrician had to do it. That's fine and probably the better way to install any electrical device, just wish there were clearer pictures of the back of the unit so we could have planned the time and materials better. For those of you living in parts of the country with better building standards than Arizona, perhaps you'll have the right electrical setup. It also includes a gasket which is so tightly toleranced it wouldn't sit behind the base during install on our textured eve... Again, might work better for your setup, just things to consider -- we needed a tube of caulk to seal it. Overall really like the light, unit looks great and so does the bright-enough but comfortable light it puts out. This is the perfectly sized LED outdoor light fixture for us. I have taken various shots for you so you have an idea of scale and appearance. It is elegant and understated at the same time, which is what we wanted given that the fixture needed to be right next to an awning, and located in a rather narrow piece of wall as you will observe. It provides beautiful up and down lighting. We wanted a good amount (not glaring) light for ease of access in/out of that door, and wanted to add a bit of interest at that location by incorporating the contemporary (or modern if you will) feature of up/down lighting. We needed something which would not fight our other outdoor fixtures, so this is the perfect fit. If we had a totally contemporary or modern home, I would probably order this for the entire home. The look of the outside of our home is Mediterranean so all of outside has that flare, which is why this particular fixture had to just do its thing as it blended in with the black and white stripped awning, as it also brought in a focal point of interest at that otherwise boring location. It did all of that! Now, this is the replacement light. The first one which came in was installed (as this one) by our electrician. It become hot almost immediately and after not even an hour, I had to turn it off as it was so hot we could hardly touch it and it made the awning very hot. I immediately reported it to Wayfair and they handled it directly with WAC. They sent me this replacement which is perfect. That is why I gave them the full 5 stars. It's not just the product, it was what happened when the one in a million doesn't work well, how they handled that situation. They told me I could keep or pitch the hot one yet I am going to pitch it as there is no way I could use it nor give it to anyone. Again, the replacement is perfect, does not get hot, gives wonderful light as you can see, is a beautiful shade of black, blends well with various styles and could stand beautifully alone if it had to, and I am beyond happy with it.
