This is a good-looking fire pit. The finish looks like a cement, but it's not. The concealed tank keeps the footprint smaller. The shape allows you to get close because your knees can fit under the shelf. We will likely buy a glass ring to go around the fire because when you set your glasses there, they will get warm. Very cheaply made. It's not wood nor is it marble, it is a cast of plaster and fiberbond. The paint job was poor and you could tell it was fake, not to mention the poor craftsmanship. The wood section wast not completely painted brown to the edge. Not worth the price. Its also small and has almost no area to set drinks.
