This desk exceeded my expectations. It is very sturdy, easy to assemble, and has a gorgeous farmhouse look that works perfectly in the space. I like the looks of the desk, its size and functionality - it works. The cost was higher than some, but in my opinion was worth it (I don't buy a computer desk everyday). The only reason I'm giving this desk 4 stars is because the top, keyboard and bottom shelf's had chipped corners right out of the box (see pics). The box itself looked in decent shape including the corners. The chipped pieces were still in the box so the chips must have been from careless handling. Can't say if it happened before or after FedEx handled it. I was fortunate that each damaged shelf, when assembled, could be placed so the chip areas are at the rear of the desk and not visible. Once again, other than the chips, I like the desk and didn't find it as hard to assembled as other reviews stated. This desk comes in about nine hundred pieces and is very very tedious to put together. I guess I should have known that but honestly the few hours I had to dedicate to putting it together was a bit of a let down. And then you also realize it’s not as nice of quality as you were expecting since all the pieces are cheaper. But it looks nice enough once it’s together. It gets the job done. Honestly the keyboard tray is why I wanted this and it’s okay, but a little clunky lookingfeeling. I think next time I would try to find a solid wood desk, but for the price I guess you get what you pay for. Nice desk! But… Went together without any trouble. A few of the edges were scuffed up and needed a touch-up pen. Only real issue was trying to install keyboard tray. The privacy skirt and support bar made it a challenge but cutting holes did the trick.. Anonymous. Mon Mar 30 2026
