I really like these plates; yes, they're stoneware so they're heavy; but I consider that a good thing. Id gotten this to match the rest of the sets I had. I put 4 sets on my wedding registry, but gifted 3. Since getting this set, Ive already put this to the test microwave and dishwasher friendly.
