Item arrived as promised. I preferred the non-glass watch box that is open for easy accessibility. Wood frame seems well built. The pillows are not cushions but feel like a mix of hard cardboard. I really am enjoying this Necklace Box. It is attractive and weighted well, so you can lift the lid without the rest of it moving. Thus, there is not a problem with the chains getting tangled. I sometimes wear pendants with other chains. This box allows me to instantly look at which chains are available for which pendant. Careful placement of the necklace when I take it off leaves no way for the chains to get knotted. (Tangled chains are my biggest problem.) The necklace box is sensible and arranged nicely. Overall, I like the unit. It arrived next day and the setup was pretty straightforward. I have 5 other cabinets that are similar but not identical to this one so a lot of the setup was the same. I had to makemake 2 additions to make the cabinet work for me. First, I added legs. I don’t like cabinets that drag on the floor especially when you need a place to put the power cords. Second, I added lights to the glass shelves. The way the unit works. Anything on the two glass shelves device light but if you have a lot of things on those shelves, the light doesn’t fully transmit to the wood shelves. I’ve been reading that the lights tend to die within 30-60 days so let’s see if that happens to me it I have a backup plan to add new lights o I’ll be fine if it does. Overall, a descent unit. Notice: There are locks at both sides for better security, the key can only be pulled out when well locked,which helps to prevent you from forgetting to lock and pulled out keys. Press down firmly on the lid with both hands if needed, make sure It's well closed, then the key would be released .

The trunk is as it looks. Hinges seem strong but even if they weren't, the wood is so light that it wouldn't hurt fingers. If you are looking for a solid piece of furniture, this isn't it.
