This product imparts a greater gloss than Marmoleum has out of the box. I'd call it satin. We like the shine. Since it is a Forbo product it should be the most compatible treatment available. The instructions say it both cleans and shines though it makes sense to thoroughly sweep then clean the floor with mild detergent and water or the Forbo cleaner first. Not impressed with Wayfair! I ordered this part at the end of October - I received a 1-12 x 6 piece. Kept getting the runaround from Wayfair. They finally sent me the correct piece after a month of AI and human customer service. Not sure which one was worse! Got it, WRONG piece AGAIN! Another month of worthless customer service and I got another correct piece sent out, shipping delayed, order not found, etc... By the time I received it, you guessed it, WRONG AGAIN and this time it was bent so was unusable anyway. It took almost 3 months to get three wrong pieces that every customer service rep (about a dozen including AI) assured would be correct. Before you think why didnt you go somewhere else, this is an unusual size and color that is extremely expensive at other places.
