Ordered two in the 36"x24" size for my kids in 5th and 9th grades for their distance/virtual learning. The height goes from 26"-44". We have the desks sitting at the lowest 26" height, which fits my kids perfectly. They love their desks. The footrest allows them to swing their feet and helps with their postures. I, at first, thought the lift was defective but realized the issue when assembling the second desk. I had to partially take apart the first one to cut the plug out. Manufacturing or shipping defect leads to easily marred surface. First one had highly visible chipped off area exposing the wood composite underlay of the desk table top. Even second replacement top has noticeable scratch that we will live with. Table top is a very heavy piece! The replacement process has left us with the choice of a difficult disposal ourselves or another appointment for pick up of the defective piece.
