I gave this four stars because it arrived in a smashed box and the mount and arm were not attached. It took a while to put them together. The hook-and-loop straps that were included were a nice inclusion, I am glad they came with something, but they did not secure my laptop. I wound up replacing those straps with a thin nylon strap with D rings. That way I could pull the strap tight to ensure that the laptop would stay put. I bought this stand to use with an iPad in a museum setting. I was very disappointed with the iPad holder itself.
