I fell in love with this light as we designed and renovated the first floor of a clients house. Our client was surprising particular about his dining room light. Most design recommendations he readily accepted so I was surpised when he vetoed several dining room light suggestions. After presenting our client with several more options, he selected this fixture in black. He liked the lines of the fixture with his curved, gently swooping top. He liked that it didn't have any wood detailing. And He loved the interior contrasting color. I bough two of these 10” lights. They are beautiful. Install was tricky because the integrated LED has a box that needs to fit inside your ceiling. We have remodel boxes in the ceiling and there wasn’t a lot of room. Also the entire light including globe needs to be assembled before you hang it with makes it a two person job so you don’t break the globe during install. We used the box it came in to hold the light during install just to be safe. While shopping I noticed the canopy was listed at 2” which made no sense. I reached out to wayfair and they reached out to the manufacturer and returned with an answer of 4.75. I did have to send the largest one back for over my kitchen table as it was way too big, so they were out in the next size in black, so I purchased the correct size in white and spray painted it in black and it turned out great.
