- First impression once assembled, looks just like the model online. However, the wood top had 2 damaged areas 1 a scratchgouge, another that had a stain that someone tried to color in and varnish over. We had put so much work that when we noticed it, we were an hour in and didnt want to have to wait for a new one. - Assembly with two people, it took about 2 12 hours to assemble. It was a pretty simple process, but they were just a lot of pieces. There were two times that the instructions were unclear in terms of the direction certain pieces had to go in, and in other areas it seemed like the steps could have been done in a better way. But overall it was simple but tedious. Instructions would earn a 94 out of 100. Finished we are very happy with the entries result. It goes really well with our other furniture and the sage green color is really pretty. I like the extra space with the flip top wood on top, but part of me wishes that the extra piece was on the other side. Also, since we use this for a space between our kitchen and dining room, the paper towel holder seems a little out of place. If it was just for the kitchen it would make sense. But thats a personal preference. The drawers are nice and deep, and the shelves are movable so that you can adjust them to various heights if your needs change. Overall we are very happy and glad that we saved the assembly fee. The reasons for not giving a five star two gouges on the wood top, and a few areas of the instructions had to be figured out. I could not be more pleased with this purchase. I recently moved into a rental that has an awkward layout for cooking and this solves the problem beautifully. The leaf is just perfect, allowing more space for food prep but with the option to stow it away to keep the walkway open. From the time I opened the box, including organizing and verifying all the parts, it took 3.5 hours to assemble, plus another 20-30 min for final adjustments, removing stickers, and disposing all the packaging. One of the hardware packets was mislabeled. The instructions were mostly clear with a couple confusing spots. At the end one of the drawers wouldn't slide in all the way so I had to adjust the sliders to a different hole than instructed. I didn't need (or like) the bulky spice rack so I filled the holes with nail hole filler. As other reviewers have commented, it is definitely a tip hazard with the leaf open when the cabinets are empty, but once I put heavier stuff inside the whole thing stabilized. I agree the back side (leaf side) of the unit would look nicer with a more finished appearance but it doesn't bother me since it faces away from the entrance. Luckily the delivery person delivered the box right to my door where I could drag it inside - I'm a petite woman and it weighs 100 lbs, so I wouldn't have been able to get it inside otherwise. Overall, I am very happy with this cart. The materials are sturdy and well-painted, and all of the holes lined up properly when putting it together. It has deep drawers and offers a great amount of storage space, and the locking wheels are a nice touch. Some complaints: There was more assembly required than I expected. The cart arrived fully flat-packed with 0 pieces already put together, so building it was a significant process, even with construction experience. The doors are a bit off; they have a gap in the middle and sort of “crunch” on the sides when they open. The handles are also very low to the ground compared to the height of the cart. I do not suggest hanging mugs on the provided s-hooks. This cart is a good choice for the price point. If you aren’t looking to break the bank, but you also don’t want a flimsy piece of garbage, this is the one for you! It will serve its purpose as long as you are patient and good with a screwdriver.. The Allyn wrench provided is too long, so used a smaller one I had that worked better for me. This kitchen cart is an extremely useful and smart addition in any kitchen.

We love this cart. Compact design but plenty roomy with nice-sized drawer. Real wood except for fiberboard with veneer for the back panel and drawer bottom, sturdy construction. Predrilled holes lined up perfectly, screws were all included. Instructions were mainly visual with a few tips here and there, mainly regarding adjusting the doors. Other reviewers have complained that the doors don't line up, and they don't until you adjust them, which involves removing the magnets in the front support and removing the top shelf so that the door hinges can be gently teased to an obtuse angle until they rest parallel to the bottom front support bar. When the magnets are replaced, they snug the doors up just perfectly. And the magnets can be moved further in or further out by positioning the screw in one of the two screw positions in the magnet bracket. The wooden screw hole plugs add a nice finished look to the piece. On the con side, the slatted shelves are attractive, but given the choice, I'd have preferred a solid bottom to prevent an insect or mouse from finding its way in. Also, assembly required some skill and in my case, 2 people and a few hours to finish. And finally, a few pieces were labeled, but labeling all of them would have been helpful. This ended up being perfect for the space and a good deal for the price. Comes in two heavy boxes, but I had a hand truck to move them from the sidewalk to the kitchen, so I could by manage myself. I also put it together by myself, and it took a hot minute (multiple hours....hard to measure because I took mental breaks), but it wasn't hard. The pieces were all there, it wasn't confusing, just predictably tedious. Worth every second to gain the extra drawers and cabinet space. If i had a complaint, it's the the backside looks like exactly what it is (just the cheap panel), but it's no different than pictured plus it's where the barstools go anyway if you're worried about it.
