Wayfair customer service was like in the "good ol' days". Happy to do business with Wayfair. The product is good quality. But the manufacturer could do its end users a real favor by making very clear that one unmarked screw should NOT be removed. All it would take would be a little sticky note on the piece. Instead the manufacturer chooses to sell you a replacement part ($34). The housing and keeper come in a black-painted finish, and the door knobs and rosettes come in a brite brass-plated finish to match other existing brass-finished hardware in the home. These types of locking devices are surface-mounted and do not require any mortise pockets to be drilled into the door panel edge. All systems are keyed-alike, and spare keys are available upon special order. Keyed different are not available. These locksets are for use on interior doors only, but they cannot be mounted on doors with pre-bored holes for modern-day door knobs.
