this item was purchased for a new install. Meaning there was no other disposal it was replacing. It was super easy and is so amazingly quiet, which is awesome due to the open style floor plan. It will never drown out anyone's TV program! It's slim so it will fit in even the smallest space! I really couldn't beat the price of this item on wayfarer either! pretty much half the price of the next lowest retailer! I also bought the air button to go with it! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Bosch benchmark induction range is a great piece of hardware. I love how fast it brings water to a boil and how well built it appears to be. The glass overhanging the counter is a great feature add too. Downsides: it was very frustrating to install this extremely heavy appliance just to set it up and see that they offered little spacers for the tiny gaps in the back--I didn't get to use them because I would've had to pull the range out again completely. I sticker saying "stop! Before install install spacers" would've been nice! Having a baking drawer like kitchenaid offers would be awesome instead of just a warming drawer on the bottom. And lastly. Stovetop heats up So fast and to clean, and I love the fact that it extends over my counter to prevent food from falling down the cracks. Seems well built, not flimsey like less expensive inductions we looked at. Electronics working perfectly so far, fingers crossed, as we had problems with a 6 yr old Kitchenaid gas stove electronics from the get-go. I'm totally happy with the wall oven. It operates perfectly and looks great. I also purchased a Bosch microwave at the same time and I have an issue with it. The build quality is fantastic—it feels incredibly sturdy, and the sleek, modern design looks absolutely beautiful in my kitchen. In terms of performance, it’s an absolute beast. When turned up to full power, it is quite loud, but it clears out smoke, steam, and strong cooking odors incredibly fast, so the trade-off is completely worth it. My only real critique is the lighting placement; the LEDs are only in the front. I really wish it had lighting in the back as well to give more even coverage across the entire cooktop. This mirror is so functional with the outlet/phone holder. Finally a place to hide the electric toothbrush! The shelves and magnifying mirror are all adjustable and such a nice feature.
