I was well overdue for a new immersion blender, and did a good bit of research before deciding on this one. The attachments on this model are terrific. The only one I have not yet used is the masher (solid black piece), but maybe this fall when we make more mashed potatoes. The blender has a safety lock design that my previous did not. The "click" mechanism for releasing/swapping attachments makes using it a breeze. I especially like that it has three speeds for blending: pulse (which pulses though you hold the button steady), low and high. This makes it very versatile for my various uses. I purchased 2 of these lights for the nightstands in our bedroom. They are of very high quality and are exactly what we were looking for. We love the brightness and color temperature settings, as we use them for reading. The big selling point for us was the 26.5" long gooseneck arm. It is long enough to reach over the reading material and can be twisted into any position. Even when fully extended, the arm does not tip the light over due to the weighted base.
