Oh man, finding a vanity top for my Ayanna Single bathroom vanity was the most stressful thing in the bathroom reno- but we ended on a gem. This looks and feels solid. The shape of the sink is modern and clean- just note that there is no overflow for when you are looking for a drain. Everyone who sees our bathroom immediately touches it and asks what it is. Although it’s called petrified wood and was actually natural wood at one point in time, it is now stone. Over thousands of years, the process of fossilization has replaced all the organic materials in the wood with minerals, keeping the structure of the wood, but effectively turning it into stone. Each Petrified Wood sink is unique, no two are alike. The shape and size vary for every piece and can range from 14 to 25 in. in length (side to side) and 11 to 24 in. in width and 4.75 to 7 in. in height.
